On International Jazz Day join Vincent York+4  for a tribute to Jazz. Last year Vincent York +4 took the first steps on a Cosmic Journey. This International Jazz Day you are invited to travel with them to The Next Frontier. Join Vincent York bandleader and saxophone; Josef Deas, bass; Rick Roe, piano; Zach Saginaw acoustic and electric drums; and Gary Schunk, electronic keyboards in a refreshing interpretation of traditional pieces by Roy Brooks and Harold McKinney and original pieces by the band.

International Jazz Day is a UNESCO declared annual tribute to America’s greatest art form. Jazz is recognized internationally for promoting peace, dialogue among cultures, diversity, respect for human rights and human dignity, eradicating discrimination, promoting freedom of expression, fostering gender equality, and reinforcing the role of youth in enacting social change.
